Take Your Family to School Week

PTA's Take Your Family to School Week is celebrated each year during the week leading up to PTA Founders Day (February 17) to pay tribute to PTA's legacy of building family-school partnerships. PTAs across the country plan programs and activities during this week to strengthen parent involvement in their schools and communities. This year National PTA will be providing grants to 45 local units for their Take Your Family to School Week activities. Once the grants are announced later this month, I'll share some of the highlights from their applications. In the meantime, what events have you planned?

As someone new to the Great Idea Bank, I would love to hear stories from those that haven taken their family to school. Even if you did not win a grant, I am sure you could share sometime fun and "impactful". :)
