Welcome, Marie Solla!

I am the proud mother of a 12 year old son.  I am currently serving a second year as President of Country Club Middle School PTSA in Miami Lakes, FL.  I also serve on the Executive Board of Miami-Dade County Council of PTA's/PTSA's.  This is my first year on the council, serving as the Honors and Awards Chair and on the Nominating Committee. 

I have built a career in Restaurant Management, working 55-60 hours per week.  I have been a presenter on Career Day at Joella C. Good Elementary, Charles D. Wyche Elementary, and Charles Hadley Elementary (my son has only attended Joella C. Good).  At my job, I was given the responsibility of local store marketing, so I took that opportunity to build relationships between the restaurants I worked for and local schools.  In 2010, Everglades K-8 Center and Charles Hadley Elementary both nominated me and the restaurant I was working at for Dade Partner Exemplary Award.
